Melton Wool Cardigan. Repurposed from Fireman Jacket Liner.

US$178.00

Melton wool cardigan with cropped raglan sleeve. Repurposed from fireman jacket liner.

We meticulously unpicked all the velcro patches that originally attached the liner to the shell. This immediately made the garment more wearable. There were no pockets so we added some. We used deadstock cotton/poly twill from discarded cuttings from another repurposing project - transforming women’s work coveralls (Canadian Military) into utilitarian dresses.

The end result is this super dense melton wool cardigan that reminds us a bit of a kimono silhouette. We think it’s nice for layering.

Measurements:

Chest: 23 1/2”
Length from high point shoulder to hem: 32 1/4”
Sleeve: 29 1/2” (from center back)

Model in photos is 6’ 1”.
